X Series Security

All X Series recorders support a fully featured
and highly secure Password system.
The system allows for up to 50 fully independent users and once enabled ensures that
the configuration and data of the instrument is
fully protected.
An enhanced version of the Password system known
as ESS is
also available for Pharmaceutical applications that
are required to conform to 21 CFR Part 11.

Developed by Honeywell specifically with partners
within the Pharmaceutical industry, the facilities and functions of the X Series ESS
password system easily meet the requirements of 21 CFR Part
11.
Peer to Peer Passwords
For applications where multiple recorders are all on a network & using
passwords, the X Series Peer to Peer Password facility will synchronize
recorders password details automatically.
This will prevent the need to go to every recorder to update a Username
or Password, and mean that when you have updated one recorder on the Peer
network all the others will be updated automatically.
