Report Generation
All X Series recorders support report generation, a
very powerful, flexible and yet beautifully simple system for all
process applications.
Program up to 10 independent reports for a wide
range of applications.
Report Style
X Series reports can be either be on demand, known
as Normal Style, or by batch known as Batch style
Report Styles
Normal Style
A Normal Style report will be run when the report is triggered, and will contain information (as programmed from the selection) about the values of the recorder, for example the previous 24 Hr Max and Min value for all the Pens.
Batch Style
A Batch Style report will be run when the report is triggered, and will contain information (as programmed from the selection) about values that occured or were generated during a batch run.
For example, a Max Min Pen report in Batch style will give the Max and Min that occurred during the batch period.
Report Contents
The Current Pen value will include all enabled pens engineering value at the
time the report was run
For Pen Max & Mins, Averages and Totals choose from hourly, daily,
weekly, monthly or continuous
Include any combination of Messages list from Alarm, System, Diagnostic,
Security or User for the last hour, day, week, month or all.
Include any combination of counter value from Alarm, User, Event, Digital
input, Relay Output or Pulse
You can also include the current status of the contact inputs and relay
outputs.

report to fit in with a very wide range of

On Demand
Initiate a report manually from the front of the X Series. Or Use a Digital input connected to a locking switch on the panel
Automatic
Any of the programmed reports can be triggered by any one of the following:
Batch End
Alarm
Scheduled
Via Comms
Totalsier
Counter
Read the Report
View the report you have just run or any of the
previous 10 reports on the front of the X Series
Email the Report
Program the recorder to automatically Email a completed report right to your desk...
Email a Report
Assuming the recorder is connected to your mail sever, and configured for email, simply select the Email option in reports configuration and the recorder will email the completed report to whoever you need
The report will arrive as an attached .rtf file that can be open and printed for most word processing applications such as MS Word
Print the Report
Print the report to a clocally attached or networked attached printer. This can be configured to be automatic when the report is generated, or manual on demand
Save the Report
The X Series stores the most recent 10 reports internally for local viewing or printing, but will also automatically or manuall save to USB of CF memory for transfer to another PC.
