Quality
The X Series paperless recorders have been designed and built to last. Honeywell understand that
down time could have a significant impact on your business, and so these
products are designed to work in a wide range of industries 24/7/365 -
continuous operation
Design for Six Sigma

Honeywell design teams use Design for Six Sigma techniques and tools to
analyse designs and optimize quality and performance.
For example low power high performance processors
are used, less heat, less power draw, less load on
the supply.
Manufacturing Test

All recorders are subject to a stringent manufacturing test process that
exercises and stresses all aspect of the instrument, to ensure that when it
gets to you it lasts.
This testing includes temperature cycling and simultaneous power cycling, field signal
checking, communication exercises and display and touch screen tests in an
automated system that ensures nothing is missed.
Construction
Toughened glass touch screen capable of withstanding a 1.18 pound steel
ball being dropped from 4 feet (NEMA4X test), combined with a steel case and
back plate ensures a rigid and robust construction suitable for use in the
industrial environment.
Seismic Tests
X Series recorders are used in nuclear power
stations, and are subject to a succession of simulated earthquakes. The
instrument has to keep working throughout, and the quality construction of
the X Series ensures that it does - watch the video
Approvals

The X Series meets the approvals of CE, UL, CSA, FM and NEMA4X which ensures
good design and rigorous testing
